Study Of Landscape Design Of The Pedestrian Street Of Haerbin’s Central Avenue

Commercial pedestrian streets are one of the main types of urban public space. Theyconstitute the most important landscape elements of the city image and reflect the quality of the city directly. Besides, pedestrian streets are also the basic space for residents outdoor activities, making themselves important links between people and the city. Thus, pedestrian street design is an important part of urban public space landscape design and plays an important role in the field of landscape design. Pedestrian streets today are developing to a higher level. Street space is developing in the direction of anoverall infrastructure assembly. The point of view is to be updated that the design of pedestrian streets is similar to the other parts of the city. As designers we can experience in mind the whole process of how different parts of a pedestrian street develop from disorder to order. In a sense, when we are designing a pedestrian street, we should pay more attention to the outer space of architecture in the same time when we design the internal space of architecture.In this article we will begin with the aim and meaning of pedestrian streets. Then we will analyze the development condition of pedestrian streets in our country. After that we will discuss the studying value of their design. On the basis of a combination of theory and practice, we will look into the future and discuss the developing trend of pedestrian street design.After that, the article handles the topic of pedestrian street design from four aspects:landscape environment form, landscape spatial planning, ecological environment greening and mass behavioral psychology. The third part of the article will base on the example of Central Avenue in Harbin. The buildings, squares, streets in landscape will be analyzed. The landscape will be regarded as an integrated whole. The space will be further extracted and purified.
