| With vigorous development of transportation, highways and urban roads are in frequent construction or reconstruction. The design of superelevation and widening directly affects the safety of road travel, and it may cause rollovers and other accidents if superelevation and widening design unreasonable. It makes sense to design reasonable superelevation and widening in road construction. Significant differences exist in different area which makes calculation of superelevation and widening complex. It’s not conducive to practical use and computer implementation and brings heavy work to designer.In order to improve road design efficiency and reduce the burden on the designer’s work, analgorithm of the autoâ€design of superelevation and widening is proposed, which analyses the characteristics of different basic curve combinations, simplifies the computing method of superelevation and widening in these basic curve combinations, resolves road curve into a series of basic curve combinations by basic curve combination matching method, computes the superelevation and widening, and finally complete the autoâ€design of superelevation and widening.Besides, typeâ€code labeling method and matching algorithm are proposed while studying visualization method of road embankment. Combined road embankment model with superelevation and widening graph and the views of horizontal, verticaland cross sections, the results of superelevation, widening and road design will display intuitively. It helps designers communicateeasily, allows designers to quickly identify the deficiencies superelevation and widening, and thereby improves design efficiency. |
