The Comparison And Analysis Between Cross-straits In Landscape Design Based On Multi-sensory Interaction

Multi-sensory interaction landscape design as a cutting-edge design direction inurban city, each region has its development characteristics according to nativeenvironment. China, although the mainland has the same root with Taiwan, due toexperience the history, politics, economics, foreign exchange and other factors andoccurred after a series of evolution, the landscape design showing diversified andmulti-perspective phenomenon. In the contemporary scene, we need to understand thedifferences and similarities of landscape design between mainland and cross-strait,and guide people to probe the origin of culture.The multisensory interaction design of cityscape focus on the interactionrelationship between people and landscape, and concern the healthy progress inhuman individuals and groups, the design not only emphasis the functionalrequirement, but also the requirement between human psyche, and also attaches greatimportance on the multi-sensory experience of public people.The urban landscape design focused on the visual perception of form factor andaesthetic constitution, and the research of unilateral expression in currently, while, themulti-sensory between the urban landscape and people were ignored.The urban landscape of multi-sensory interactive fully mobilize peoplemultidimensional senses, and focus the interaction between the mobilization ofpeople and landscape, and improve the quality of the urban landscape in terms of theintangible emotion and people-oriented.In this paper, the multi-sensory interactive design of Taiwan and the Mainlandwere chosen, the park landscape, residential landscape, urban streetscape, campuslandscape four kinds of landscape types were selected as the case studies by themethod in the study of comparative manner. By comparing the multi-sensoryinteractive of visual, tactile, auditory, olfactory and gustatory sensory, the influence ofdifferent social backgrounds with the impact of changing times can be found betweenTaiwan and Mainland. As well as differences in the causes of the gradual formation ofthese differences, and traced the origin of their culture, multi-sensory interactionbetween Taiwan and Mainland were grasped to improve the connotation of urban landscape environment by learning from each other. Finally, as the example ofBanqiao Garden in Taiwan and the Zhuozheng Garden in Mainland, the real impact ofmulti-sensory interactive design under different background can be found, and thedifferences and similarities of multi-sensory urban landscape were summarized in theend.
