Electromagnetic relay is an electronic control device, typically used in automaticcontrol circuit. It is actually a “auto switch” that uses smaller current or lower voltage tocontrol a larger current or a higher voltage. It plays important roles in the circuit such asautomatic adjustment, security, conversions of circuits and so on. As with China’sincreasing levels of industrial production, and it puts forward higher requirements on thereliability of the control system. The reliability of its work not only directly affect theproduction efficiency and product quality, but also directly related to the productionequipment and operator safety, and the loss and damage increases as the expansion of thesystem. A large number of relays are used in control systems in the industrial andagricultural production and people’s daily life. So to improve the reliability of the relay isthe premise to improve the reliability of the control system.The main subject of the paper is to study the parameter detection technology of relayreliability test. Based on the researching of the methods of relay reliability test, and thedetection technology, developing the related test control, AC and DC coil voltage regulation,and contact voltage signal acquisition circuits. developed the electromagnetic relayreliability test system based on Advantech IPC, high-speed signal acquisition card(PCI1747U) and control Card (PCL722). By using the LabVIEW programming toolsdeveloped the electromagnetic relay reliability test system. Just a simple operation interfacebutton, you can perform the relevant tests, and the trial information can be auto-saved(including information on test failure data and normal test data). The test system is simple,functional, high degree of automation, and it has a high application value.
