Shenmu County Town Spatial Form Evolution Research Based On The Fractal Theory

With the speeding up of China’s urbanization,because of the urban rapiddevelopment, a series of urban problems gradually appear, brings to the urbandevelopment the great confusion and challenges. For resource-based cities and towns, thesituation is particularly serious. Single industrial structure, resource distribution, politicalculture under the influence of factors such as the problem of urban form greatly limits thedevelopment of the city.Shenmu county is located in the northern shaanxi energy FuJiOu, across the sandand loess plateau hilly gully landform areas, with double particularity of urban economicdevelopment and topography. Over the past30years due to the coal resourcesdevelopment to drive the rapid economic development, great changes have taken place inurban construction. The contradiction between the urban land expansion and river valleylandforms caused the mixed urban functions and ecological environment deterioration, aseries of problems such as traffic jams. Fluctuations in the coal industry in2013is theshenmu county development has brought serious challenges, make people begin toprofound reflection on the problems of the city.From this thesis can reflect the shenmu county urban morphology research of urbanproblems, using fractal theory and method of shenmu county space form of1986-2013tostudy the evolution law. In the theoretical research level, through the analysis of urbanform and urban form at home and abroad of fractal research, summarized researchcharacteristics and research trend both at home and abroad, major research in this paper,determine the research train of thought; In basic research, analysis the research objectunder the influence of the region and in the characteristic urban space form features, as afractal research work; In research methods, combing the research method of the urbanspace form, establishing the urban space form fractal method research framework in view of the city space and function space different research level; In the space form of fractalresearch content level, the urban space morphology of fractal research can be divided intoexternal and internal two levels, combined with GIS spatial analysis method and the urbanmorphology of fractal analysis method, the expansion of the external space form fractalcharacteristics of phase characteristics, evolution and internal function of land usestructure of morphological characteristics of fractal analysis, summarizes the evolutionfeatures and evolution mechanism and the main problems. Based on the analysis of theevolution law, puts forward the guiding strategy, combining with the relevant theoreticalknowledge and urban form fractal thought development of urban form specificoptimization scheme is put forward.
