Temple Fairs is a kind of market conditions that was aroused by history,which rootsin folk life and beyond civil culture. About the Temple Fairs, also the reality and valueare immateriality, they often present themselves in the way of materiality and contactwith its architectural environment about preservation. According to such character, thisthesis discusses the Temple Fairs with a intangible cultural heritage view, and analyzesthe ontological, inheritors, the heritage features and the value of Zi Peng MountainTemple Fairs, then study the architectural environment and local culture based on theresearch, and interpret the overall environment, important environmental node about theZi Peng Mountain scenic, the built environment of Xi Lu Temple, the local culture thatgenerate the Zi Peng Mountain Temple Fairs, the Zi Peng Mountain Temple Fairs’history development status and temple rituals. Final, with the non-material and theoverall protection of intangible cultural heritage, Kisho Kurokawa’s "symbiotic concept"as the theoretical basis, analysis the symbiotic relationship between the temple and itsarchitectural environment, then proposed the three relations between the the temple andits architectural environment: the general field relation, middle field relation, sacredrelation. On these, combined with its architectural environment existing conditionstemple, made their way to the symbiotic protection of Zi Peng mountain Temple Fairsand its architectural environment, there are: Zi Peng mountain Temple Fairs(non-material) protection and heritage, in order to determine the heritage groups andenhance the protection of public awareness; Zi Peng mountain Temple Fairs built environment (physical) protection and innovation, in order to protect the temple andcultural environment, physical space; the classification protected mode, in the core ofthe Temple Fairs, combined with its built environment, put the entire protection intofour parts. There are sanctuary protection, core protection, secondary protection, bufferprotection.
