Currently the relevant norms and the provisions of all countries are almost toconsider the structural collapse resistant design based on engineering experience or thereliability, in which the anti-progressive collapse theory is more slightly mature than theoverall collapse theory. But the structural collapse resistant design is still short of acomprehensive theoretical system and a complete test basis. In particular, the study ofthe collapse of shear wall structure in severe earthquake and the anti-progressivecollapse is severely lacking. It is imminent to carry out the study of collapse mechanismand destruction theory on the shear wall structure.According to the extensive literature, in terms of concrete structural collapsesimulation methods, the collapse evaluation criteria, against the damage evolutionmechanism for shear wall structure, based on the material damage, component (cell)damage, structural damage models, this paper conducted a multifaceted and multi-levelresearch by using different simulation and analysis platform.First, based on Park-Ang model and extensive improvements and fixes of themodel research by many scholars, this paper proposed a cell damage model that takinginto account the deformation and hysteretic energy. On this basis, we proposed amethod to derive structural damage index and layers damage index, in which consideredthe damage extent of components and its different position in the floor, and alsoconsidered the damage extent of floor and different effects of structural damage indexbecause of its different position in the floor.Secondly, given the derivation of the basic steps and basic formulas of concrete plasticity constitutive model, and given concrete damage constitutive equations anddamage evolution equation under uniaxial and multi-axis stress situation, then appliedto shear structural collapse simulation analysis.Third, based on the implicit finite element method, using the birth and deathmethod, and combining with cell damage model which is proposed in this article andderiving structural damage index and layers damage index, then carried out a shear wallstructures damage collapse analysis. Structural damage index which derived by thelayers damage index can reflect the evolution of the structural force and deformation atthe macro, but cannot assess the destroy process of structure according to Hu Yuxian,who proposed a reasonable assessment of the structure damage index. Structuraldamage index is largely underestimated its corresponding structure should be in thedestruction of the state.Fourth, using the cell damage model which proposed in this paper, using layersdamage index and structural damage index carried out a shear wall structures damagecollapse analysis. The evolution of the structural deformation and force does not matchwith the actual situation by using the birth and death method to simulate. The structureof the bearing capacity, displacement angle between layers and layers damage index orother index are too large and conservative in collapse of phase. When using cell damagemodel to simulate, it can true reflection of the structural force and deformation process.Learning from the damage state evaluation index which is proposed by Hu Yuxian et al,according to the layers damage index in this article, we defined each structure damagedestruction state corresponding to the layers damage state evaluation index.Fifth, using concrete damage plasticity model and combining layers damage indexand structural damage index carried out a shear wall structures damage collapse analysis.Analysis showed that the bearing capacity, the interlayer displacement angle, layersdamage index and energy of the structure, were consistent with index by using the birthand death model and cell damage model in the overall change. The correspondencedifference between the interlayer displacement angle and layers damage index is toolarge, when structure destructed into the collapsed phase, the interlayer displacementangle is still no longer applicable. Layers damage index cannot evaluate structuraldeformation and force behavior well, but structural damage index is performing well. Structural damage index can be used to the qualitative evaluate the process of damagedestruction state throughout structural force and deformation, then given each structuredamage destruction state corresponding to structural damage state evaluation index.
