Research On The Test Equipments Of Mixed Infrared Suppressor And Experiment

With the development of IR-guided（infrared-guided）weapons, it isof great significance to research the infrared suppressor to reduce theradiation of marine gas turbine exhaust. The test is an important method toresearch the performance of infrared suppressor. These studies can providea basis for the design and optimization of infrared suppressor. That,research on the test equipments is particularly important.This paper researches on the test equipments of mixed infrared supp-ressor, to redesign the former test equipments. The paper takes reasonabledesign and installation of the combustion system, air distribution systemand cooling system; The paper takes in-depth study of measurement andcontrol system, makes reasonable selection and design of various measuri-ng instruments, and takes calibration of the main sensors and transmittersto ensure the accuracy of measurement and control system; The papertakes further research on the PLC, and makes communication betweenPLC and computer by Modbus data transmission protocol; The paperwrites measurment and control program by Labview and STEP7; Thepaper researches on the control theory of PID to control the main air flow,also, optimizes the Kp, Ki, Kd to optimize the output response curve, andmakes the system characteristics of stability and dynamic to the best.The paper takes experiment of mixed infrared suppressor through thedesigned test equipments. The paper gets many conclusions, such as,inhibition performance of infrared suppressor under different conditions;the distribution of temperature field and pressure field; the effects of water cooling on inhibiton performance and gas turbine exhaust back pressure;the analysis of infrared spectral image and test data. Also, the experimentverifies the stability and accuracy of the test equipments.Research on the test equipments is the basis of experiment research,experiment research is an important way to optimize the design of the infr-ared suppressor, it has a far-reaching influence on the development of thenavy.
