In the world,Intelligent building has developed over the years.In the early1990s,intelligent building also came to China, during the period, the skill of building automationcontrol system has development much better, it has made great contribution to intrlligentbuilding techinologies and enery-saving of China. In the field of building automation,KNX/EIB not only became a actual European standard but also becames one of theinternational standards because of its open, simple and compatible feature.Base onKNX/EIB, as the only international standard, the application of KNX/EIB can improve thelevel of lighting system control and management, reduce maintenance costs of the lightingcontrol systems. At the same time, it can save energy and decrease operating costs oflighting control systems.At first, this thesis describes the history of the development of intelligent buildingsand analyse the situation of intelligent buildings in the international development, and thisleads to the international mainstream bus protocol issues.Then this thesis compares thesimilarities and differences between several bus protocol, and Chose KNX/EIB protocol asthe Shanghai Hongqiao Airport West Terminal building intelligent lighting control systemstandard protocol. Futhermore, this thesis provides an innovative solution for intelligentlighting control system in Shanghai Hongqiao Airport West Terminal building,demonstrated the feasibility and practicality of the solution. During the process ofimplementing ETS, the solution solved software anti-interference by digital filter.Finally,this thesis analysed the effect of the solution and proposed the project energy-savingreport.Through the design and implementation of intelligent lighting control system base on KNX/EIB in Shanghai Hongqiao Airport West Terminal building, this thesis attempts toapply to the domestic large-scale public buildings and even family houses. In the nearfuture it will be able to conserve energy, cut pollution and consumption, developlow-carbon green economy.
