Research And Design Of Building Automation System Based On Lonworks And L-plc Technology

With the development of techonology in couputer, communication, infromation and control system, great progress in intelliegent arichitecture has been made. It becomes an important subject about how to apply fieldbus to intelliegent architecture. LonWorks is a local operating network put forward by American Echelon Corporation in 1991. It offers a powerful means for distributed control and a decent solution to the field of intelligent architecture.In this thesis, a technology scheme of building automatic system based on LonWorks and L-PLC is presented. The low-voltage power line is used as the transmission medium. So that no new wire is needed to be laid out. The chip of PL3150 is used as the core of the intelligence node. All control function is performed by the Neuron unit inside PL3150 and no additional processor is needed. The ISI, a newly presented technology, is adopted to develop the software of the system and the software developing cost is cut down. The system implements the functions such as collecting the data and monitoring the devices.The system is developed by the latest Mini EVK, reducing the development costs. The field tests indicate that the system has the merits such as reliability, cooperability and agile establishment, and can satisfy the request of the Building Automation System.
