The Index of Power Supply Reliability is an important technical and commercialindicator for power supply enterprise. It also reflects the level of power productiontechnology, equipment and the enterprise management. It determines the economic benefits ofthe enterprise, and also reflects the city’s overall economic development. The essence ofreliability of power system is to fully utilize the power-generate and power-supply equipmentin the both technical and economical optimized way, to ensure all users with continuousquality supply of electric energy so that the quality and safety management is achieved.The subjects of this research are the problems in the power outage plan based onreliability management in one Power Supply Bureau Limited Company, especially the plans insome branches in2012. By exploring the key factors in the power outage, searching anddiagnosing concrete issues, improvements of reliability management are presented andverified; a method of Developed Reliability Management are proposed and the possibilities ofthe improvement of the power supply stability of the Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau arediscovered; an optimizing method on Developed Reliability Management is formed and toolsof the method are created as well which has verified the improvement. At the meantime, theCost–benefit analysis on stability is studied and analyzed for further research.
