Based on the design requirements of AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle,hereinafter referred to as AGV) in auto production line, this dissertation carries out aresearch of the design of AGV. According to the working process and particularity ofAGV, the following works have been completed:(1)After a fully understanding of the design scheme and structural features ofAGV at home and abroad, an analysis of the deficiencies of power supply mode oftraditional AGV and the advantages of contactless power supply mode is made.Combined with the consideration of the characteristics of contactless power supplymode, technical parameters and specific job requirements, this dissertation furtherproposes to apply the contactless power supply technology in AGV, which will makeAGV meet the actual needs of production and processing.(2)According to the characteristics of contactless power supply mode adopted inAGV, an analysis of its impact on AGV and the design of wheel layout of AGV ismade.(3)Based on the working process of AGV, a lifting device is designed to liftpower-train to the mounting height; and also, an adjustable transferring device isdesigned to satisfy the needs of manual operation.(4)On the basis of the load and motion parameters of AGV, this paperreasonably designs the frame structure and drive system structure. On the cyclicoperation of AGV, a position resetting device is designed to reset the transferringdevice to the fixed original position, which will guarantee the cyclic operation ofAGV during the process of transferring products, without any other adjustment.(5)With adjustment of the distribution of the loading gravity, this dissertationmakes a kinetic analysis of the characteristics of universal wheels used in AGV. Itfurther analyzes the influence of universal wheels on AGV’s driving capability and inthe end a reasonable structural design scheme is put forward in this dissertation.(6)This dissertation makes selection of actuators for the key structures ofAGV.
