The High-speed maglev train in Shanghai is drived by the long stator. the power energy which supply the suspension, air conditioning and other equipment on the vehicle comes from the induction electric energy by induction coil picks up the motor harmonic. But when the speed of maglev train under100km/h,the induction power energy can’t meet the demand of power train. At present, the energy which to drive the TR08train in Shanghai comes from the traditional waysaide flow system at low speed. However this device increases the noise, affects the stability of the suspension, and increases the maintenance load. For this reason, the Germans developed a test facility by using contactless power supply. This test based on high-speed maglev contactless power supply for the object, the theoretical analysis and experiment is researched in this paper.Firstly, the contactless transformer theory is researched in this paper. Using ANSYS finite element simulation software for contactless transformer magnetic circuit simulation, compare the effects of different design structures. Becasue the basic principle of contactless transformer is same to the ordinary transformer’s. The T equivalent can be also applied to the contactless transformer, to simplify the analysis.Secondly, the main circuit system is designed. By the reason of the loose coupling characteristics of contactless transformer, and a large leakage inductance, series compensation capacitor which can offset the reactive power and the voltage drop impact produced by leakage inductance is adopted. And when the circuit works at the resonance state, the voltage and current in same phase. The state achieves zero current shutdown, reduces switching losses. Then the main circuit simulation is built by MATLAB/Simulink.And the simulation results verifise the theoretical analysis correctly.At last, based on laboratory "Eleventh Five-Year" national scientific and technological support projects "high-speed maglev car grid and monitoring system" the design,selection and construction of the entire platform is completed. A20kW contactless power transmission is achieved on the experimental platform.
