Hydrostatic bearing is an important support for high-end manufacturing equipment,its components’ precision, longevity, reliability directly affect the operating performanceof high-end manufacturing equipment, and the research for mechanism of hydrostaticsupport system for supporting and the accuracy of the resulting performance of its controlis not sufficient, so it is urgent to do the research of the hydrostatic bearing. The purposeof this study is to design a hydrostatic bearing test rig, which can test the hydrostaticbearing’s oil film temperature, pressure and thickness, providing realistic basis for thestudy of the hydrostatic bearing.Firstly, This paper analyzes the present situation of the development of bearing testrig, the working principle, characteristics of hydrostatic bearings, throttle and workingprinciple of the classification.Secondly, the working principle of hydrostatic bearing and the advantages anddisadvantages are analyzed In this paper, and it also introduces the most widely constantsupply working principle of hydrostatic bearings.Thirdly, the hydrostatic bearing test rig design programs studied were introduced,and ultimately chose the most reasonable mechanical structure design. Structural designinnovation of this trial hydrostatic bearings, spindles, loading mechanism described indetail, mainly serpentine cooling circuit design hydrostatic bearing test. Spindle dividedinto two sections, according to the principles of the Morse taper, the use of boltedconnections; loading mechanism with hydraulic cylinder compression spring from the topof the load bearing loads.In the last, On the basis of this design, Hydrostatic bearing oil film on the test wassimulated in pressure field and carrying capacity based on the principles of fluiddynamics, referring to provide comparative test results for the design of the test rig.
