The level of information determines the efficiency of the power businessoperation. Currently, power system’s information level is not high, which restrictupgrading its benefits. In order to realize energy measurement and managementreliably, enhance the economic and social benefits of electric power enterprises, wedesign and implement a set of energy automated collection and intelligent analysismeter reading system,which was based on the Sanmenxia reality and in-depth study ofGPRS communication and database technology.Firstly, we study the GPRS wireless communication technology and analyze thecommon data collection solutions.After compared with each solutions, GPRS wirelessacquisition programs have been selected. VC database development environment andChangsha Weisheng communication protocol also have been elaborated.At the sametime, we give the overall diagram of the meter reading system.Then we give a detailed needs analysis of the collection system.Wirelessacquisition module and the processor chip are selected after market research.Based onthis,the collection terminal hardware architecture is designed.Meanwhile, the paperalso carried a collection terminal software design and implementation,including KEILdevelopment environment, system initialization process, energy collection procedures,and software anti-jamming technology.Meanwhile,according to the detailed functional requirements analysis,we focuson power companies’s core business and design the system managementsoftware,which provide intelligence support for power companies’s efficientoperations. System management software includes communication management,meter management, power monitoring, business expanding and alarm modules.With the rapid development of modern computer technology and the electricitybusiness, the use of intelligent data analysis techniques to achieve power business’sscientific operations has become an inevitable trend. In this paper, we design adecision-making support system with data warehouse technology,which providescientific basis for power enterprise management.
