With the development of water conservancy, more and more hydraulic phenomenonneeds analysis and prediction in nature and engineering. At present, people mainly use thetheory, experience and solid model method to study the hydraulics problems. Due to thecomplexity of water’s movement in nature, there is no good theory method and calculationformula for the study of some hydraulic problems. Therefore, the hydraulic phenomena inengineering can not be based on theoretical analysis and engineering experience to analyzeand forecast.Water hydraulic model fills up the blank of the hydraulic phenomena and problems andplays a very important role for the hydraulic design. Hydraulic design usually use somedesign specifications to design the hydraulic structures. The design specification is thecrystallization of people’s long-term engineering experience. Although there is certaininstruction-function to the design of hydraulic engineering, but for some special problems inconcrete construction, they are difficult to grasp accurately because of limitations of standard.Therefore, for the large-scale water conservancy, they use hydraulic model test to improve thedesign.Based on the combine of theory analysis and experiment research, we analyzed thehydraulic characteristics of slit type flip bucket comprehensively combined with the actualsituation of the hydraulic model test for Ma maya hydropower station. We compared withdifferent type of slit type bucket’s hydraulic characteristics in Ma maya hydropower station,and consider the engineering building composition and operation mode, then select the betternose ridge as the recommended design.At the same time, we studied on the slit type flip bucket for a variety of operating modeselected and analysed its water tongue shape, water flow velocity and pressure distribution,flow bottom hole, the downstream scouring conditions, tail water on power generation effect.The research shows that, Shape design good slit type bucket, can not only ensure the fullrealization of discharge capacity, and water jet in the longitudinal and transverse diffusioninto the water fully, uniform thickness, on the downstream scouring depth is shallow, the tailwater surface fluctuation is small. Therefore, the bucket body can meet the designrequirements of the project.By the test analysis, we know that the slit type bucket not only has good effect of energy dissipation, but also has the characteristics of scouring depth, flow velocity and pressuredistribution, tail water level stability. It is a kind of efficient energy dissipation, which can beused for water depth, stream of energy dissipation and structural stability of highrequirements. |
