In the late1970s,Permanent-magnet Synchronism Motor (PMSM) had got manyresearchers’ attention because of its advantages such as small size, high efficiency,greatpower density and so on. It can be foreseen that with the permanent magnet material’sdevelopment, with the progress of power electronic and the continuous improvement oftheoretical research and practical application of drive system, PMSM’s control and drivesystem will have a further development and a wide application.On the base of widely reading about the references and the material of PMSM’s controlsystem, and the deep understanding of the PMSM operating principle, Permanent-magnetSynchronism Motor’s mathematical models in the three-phase static,the two-phase static andthe two-phase rotation coordinates were built and analyzed. And vector control was studied.The simulation of Permanent-magnet Synchronism Motor driving system using normal PI andthe integral part with feedback PI controller have been carried out in Matlab/Simulink. Thetorque, speed and current results came out under multifarious operating conditions such asdifferences in reference speed, step change in load, parameter variation etc. The Feed PIcontrol is the kind of PI with the feedback for the integrator part. The results of simulationshows that integral part with feedback PI controller have shorter regulating time and simplestructure with quick tracking performance.The experimental control system was established on the base of intelligent powermodule (IPM) and digital signal processor TMS320C2812.The electrical circuits such aspower supply, sampling, protection and drive circuits and the principles of these circuits wereintroduced separately from the perspective of hardware and software.
