Since the early80s,with the continuous improvement of the performance ofpermanent magnetic materials and the further development of the power electronicdevices,the research of the fast steadily start and speed control technology of thepermanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has entered a new stage. At present, thepermanent magnet synchronous motor drive system is more and more used in variousindustrial occasions, studying and improving the control technology of the permanentmagnet synchronous motor has important theoretical significance and practical value.Firstly, this paper introduced the development course and the present situation andthe control strategy of the permanent magnet synchronous motor, focus on thedevelopment of the vector control theory and its application forms. With the permanentmagnet synchronous motor structure and working principle, and combining thecoordinate transformation theory, structure a mathematical model of PMSM, analysis themotor torque power characteristics and efficiency of permanent magnet synchronousmotor. Deeply research on the theory of vector control and main realization methods,and based on this discuss the scheme of the vector control for PMSM, and give thesystem control diagram.Secondly, according to the proposed PMSM vector control scheme, study the keyrealization technology--the rotor position and speed testing method and space voltagePWM technology. The rotor position and speed detection is mainly through the sensorgetting information. The physical conception of space voltage PWM technology (SVPWM)is clear, the algorithm is simple, the dc voltage efficiency is high, easy to realize digital, isone of the most advanced methods for ac motor control. In this paper, there are detailedexpounded and deduction for the theory of the voltage space vector PWM technology.Using TMS320LF2407A digital signal processor as the core to control the system, realizethe algorithm of the system, given flow diagrams of some important link, and specificimplementation using assembly language. Then, this design system simulation using the MATLAB/SIMLINK software tools,renders the main module simulation and experimental data, and compared withexperimental results in this design control mode to account for its advantage.At last, proceeding in the permanent magnet synchronous motor and its controlstrategy itself, explain the advantages and disadvantages of the vector control methods ofpermanent magnet motor, and combining the development trend of current controlstrategy state the design improvement direction of this system.
