| The problem of sediment transport must be taken into consideration when human develop and utilize natural resources and engage in various production activities near shore. The transport, deposition and resuspension of sediment is three dimensional, three-dimensional numerical simulation of tidal flow and sediment movement can correctly simulate the movement characters of tide and the exchange process between suspended sediment and bed sand. Therefore, many studies focused on this aspect, but the process of sediment movement is quite complex, the mechanism and motion parameters of which are uncertain. Numerical simulation of sediment is not mature; whose prediction accuracy is relatively poor and the examples combined with practical engineering is less.Based on the hydrodynamic model and sediment transport module of ECOMSED model, tidal current and sediment transport of Luoyuan Bay is analyzed through3-D numerical simulation of tidal flow and sediment movement, specific work and conclusions are as follows:(1) On the basis of a great number of literatures at home and abroad, have a more comprehensive understanding of the research methods and research status of3-D numerical simulation of tidal flow and sediment movement.(2) Grasp the natural state of Luoyuan Bay by analyzing hydrological observation, such as topography, climate characters, the source and transport tendency of sediment and hydrodynamic characters of tide.(3) The3-D numerical model of tidal flow and sediment movement is applied into the Luoyuan Bay, compare the computing results of Kl-k3points (surface,0.6H, bottom) with measured data in2003, the result is good.(4) On the basis of the characters of hydrodynamic and sediment transport, select reasonable motion parameters by analyzing the sensitivity of motion parameters.(5) Based on the simulation of tidal current, set up the sediment transport conditions at the open boundary, the3-D numerical model of tidal flow and sediment movement is applied into the Luoyuan Bay considering the process of the flocculation and resupension of cohesive sediment.(6) Simulate the process of sediment erosion in one year, in order to facilitate comparison with the measured data between1999and2003, the computing results are expanded linearly, the results of the vertical average concentration of K1-K3points and sediment thickness isoline map can better reflect the changes bottom topography in1999-2003.(7) Based on the measured data of Luoyuan Bay, the3-D numerical model is reasonable and can basically reflect the process of sediment transport.(8) The results have a certain reference value on the research of3-D numerical simulation of tidal flow and sediment movement near shore. |
