The safety of power system plays an important role in national economic development and in people’s life. In order to ensure the stability of power system operation, the equipment regular or irregular temperature monitoring is necessary. Although the real-time temperature monitoring system has been put into using, the cost issue makes the fully promoting still unable. The way of staff hand-held thermometer is the most common ways in temperature detection of current industry. However, the existing portable thermometer has the short of single and inefficient function and mistake because of the paper registration by staff. It even has the phenomenon that some irresponsible staff don’t go to field to do the measurement, so the security risks of power system running have been made. In order to solve above shortcomings of present portable thermometer, an intelligent portable temperature measuring system has been designed in this paper.This system is applied to electric power equipment based on MSP430single chip microcomputer temperature measurement of portable infrared thermometer. The built-in RFID radio frequency identification module can recognize the equipment number by reading measurement locations of RF card information to achieve the goal of positioning. The measuring temperature can correspond to equipment number directly, so the leakage or fault recording will be eliminated fundamentally. The temperature measuring system is applied to power system equipment, which accompany with high voltage and electromagnetic radiation measurement environment. According to this characteristic, the non-contact temperature measurement is taken to design MLX90614infrared measuring temperature sensor that is used to achieve the foal of measuring the temperature. At the same time, it can be used to take the temperature of the environment by temperature sensor DS18B20. According to the principle of infrared measuring temperature and spectral parameters of infrared sensor, this system aims at the effects of environmental temperature on temperature measurement accuracy. By a series of complex algorithm, calculation error compensation and revision, the accuracy of measurement has been improved. The built-in SD2200time module can record the measuring time accurately. The built-in USB in the system has read-write module, which has the ability to memory the location, equipment temperature, environment temperature, correction temperature and measurement time by CH376S file management chip. The above data will be stored in the built-in SD card as TXT format. The collected data can be imported to PC and generated report by SD card for the query.In this paper, the design principle of intelligent positioning portable thermometer is as the low of low power costing, low consumption and high reliability. The system consists of three parts:information collection system, the central processor system and USB storage system. Each part of the main processing chip respectively:non-contact infrared temperature sensor MLX90614, MSP430MCU,CH376S file management chip.The system has the ability of fast response, accurate measurement and high reliability. It can eliminate the questions of missing or wrong recording. It is convenient to query the generated reports. The work efficiency has been improved highly.
