IR thermometer have been widely used in industry, national defense fields because of its many merits. With the development of the science and technology, the users' needs in instruments' automation and intellection are higher and higher. With the support of Nanwang Multimedia Co. Ltd, the writer triumphantly developed a new kind of IR thermometer -Automatic Cruisable and Visible IR thermometer(ACVIRT) on the foundation of the traditional IR thermometer, it can meet the needs well. The conclusions researched on the key technologies are essential either in theory or engineering.In chapter one, the principle of IR thermometer is introduced simply, discuss the general situation of IR thermometer of the world, and point out the needs of developing new kind of IR thermometer.In chapter two, ascertain the performance parameter of the system, show the whole structure of the system and expatiate some parts of the system.In chapter three, introduce the controlling theory of the step motor, analyzed the effects of the losing-step, study the dynamic characteristic of the Hybrid Step Motor, point out the measures to improve it's characteristic, through step subdivision and acceleration start-up & stop ways make it better, proved by the experiment.In chapter four, first analyzed the noise of the IR system, especially of the IR detector. the low noise pre-amplifier is designed which matched with the detector; Based on the weak signal detection theory, analyzed and contrasted some ways of realizing Digital Phase Sensitive Detectors(DPSD), a new method using V/F converter is put forward and the algorithm is simulated.In chapter five, introduce the principles of image registration, analyzed and contrasted some ways of realizing image registration, a new method using pattern match based on moment and principal axes image registration is put forward.In chapter six, introduce the software design of the system, analyzed the last effort of the system.In chapter seven, the total article is summarized and some questions that need further improving is introduced, the trends of ACVIRT is forecasted too.
