Research On Application Of The Relay Protection State Overhaul

With the development of power system, the network structure is more and morecomplex, so the relay protection plays a more and more significant role in power system.However, the relay protections are mostly checked in regular so the maintenance work iscomsuing-time and difficult. If a fault of relay protection is occured after a check work, itwill be found in next time or after the fuction is missing, so it has a harmful influence onthe power sytem security and stabilization. It is adapt to the needs of power systemdevelopment to implement state momitoring and state maintenance for relay protections.Firstly, this paper analyzed the feasibility and necessity of relay protection statemaintenance conbined with the development and status of relay protection maintenanceat home and abroad. It found the key problem and the main impediment of relayprotection state maintenance realization. This paper proposed the technology route topromote the state maintenance and the suggestion to establish relay protection statemaintenance evaluation system.Secondly, this paper expounded realization scheme of relay protection statemaintenance in Jinghai network, and analyzed the basic train of thought and maintechnical indicators. Through state maintenance model of Jinghai network relayprotection, the diffierence between plan maintenance and state maintenance can beobtained. It proposed the main realization idea of Jinghai relay protection statemaintenance.Finally, this paper analyzed the worth and meaning of relay protection statemaintenance from the views of security, reliability and economy to find the futherproblem of relay protection state maintenance. This paper proposed the principles andobjectives of relay protection state maintenance.
