Recent years, the explosive accidents happened because of the leakage of high-risk medium in the field of oil refine and chemical industry. The severe impact on the safety of the people and society is caused by these accidents. The characteristic of working condition of high-risk medium is studied and analyzed in this paper. The safety flaw in the seal auxiliary assembly of high-risk medium pump is found. The structure transformation of high-risk medium pump must be done. The key point to solving the relevant problems is that the new structure of mechanical seal auxiliary assembly used in the high-risk pump should be developed.The effect of mechanical seal auxiliary assembly is conclude in this paper: the common equipment applied on the high-risk medium pump; the calculation equation of mechanical seal auxiliary assembly is deduced; the sub-plan used in the mechanical seal auxiliary assembly is introduced; the arrangement of used in the is analyzed; the problem of arrangement of mechanical seal auxiliary assembly and mechanical seal existed in the high-risk medium pump is found. The specific plan for solving the problems of arrangement of mechanical seal auxiliary assembly and mechanical seal used in the high-temperature oil pump、light hydrocarbons pump、poisonous and harmful medium pump is proposed on the basis of available technology serviced in the high-risk medium pump. The two-face seal is changed into the single-face seal for sake of the damage of the main seal in the high-temperature pump which could cause the leakage of high-temperature and inflammable medium. The zero-leakage of the risk and harmful medium pump and light hydrocarbons pump can be achieved.The existed problems in the mechanical seal auxiliary assembly and mechanical seal applied on the high-risk medium pump are solved through the improving the arrangement of mechanical seal and structure of mechanical seal auxiliary assembly. The solution of mechanical seal auxiliary assembly used in the high-risk medium proposed in this paper is check in the site. This solution is safe and effective. The better economical benefits is created for the enterprises.
