Research And Implementation Of Plant Landscape Design Inside Campus Of Zhengzhou

The research object of this paper is five representative universities ofZhengzhou. And the target of this paper is to find out the characteristics anddisadvantaged of campuses in Zhengzhou.The research method of this paper is theanalysis of earth image and field research. Launches the research from the Greenspace structure，Space layout plant and configuration modes aspect。 And usephytology, environmental psychology and architectural typology to study. Firstly, thepaper analysis the green coverage ratio of five universities from the whole view. Thenuse the architectural typology theory to analysis the space type of campus’s plantslandscape from the mesoscale view.Lastly, the paper compares the green acreage andthe placement of landscape plants between entrance area, students’ living area,teaching area, sports area and landscape leisure area. To find the different between allthose function division.The conclusions are as following: the green coverage ratio of five universities ishigh, but it is not evenly distributed; The space type of campus’s plants landscape isL-form, U-form, focus-form, parallel lines-form, gridding-form and obscure-form;Exhibit the following function：defining the boundary, soften the building interface,create a landscape focus。Plant landscape of five universities in the configurationtechnique showed the following3characteristics:1、age atmosphere；2、use the groupformed a high-quality landscape plants3、use the native plants to contrast the regionalcharacteristics. But there are five problems during the plans landscape design.1. Thegreenbelt of campus is not evenly distributed and it lack of planning and design fromthe whole view.2.The green coverage ratio of entrance is very low because of peoplepay much more attention to visual effects.3.people pay more a attention to the greencoverage ratio when design the teaching area and student’s living area, and this lead tothe lack of humanistic concern.4.The sports area is short of plants landscape, so theecological functions of plants can not function well.5.The frequency of utilization ofaquatic plants for landscape leisure is low, and the aquatic plants is lack ofmanagement control.At last, The paper provide solutions for those problems of Zhengzhouuniversities and conclude five design philosophy. They are as follows: globalityprinciple; functionality principle, characteristic principle, ecology principle andcultural principle. Then use those principles to plant landscape design of Henanagricultural university new campus.
