| Based on the series of real problems, including cultural loss, imbalance between humanand land, what problems today’s landscape architect must consider were that how to maintaintheir own characteristics under the background of cultural convergence, how to continue thehistorical context in the process of urbanization, how to reflect the era in the tradition, how torealize the innovation of the landscape in the harsh environment. The articles takes theexploration of regional culture innovative practice strategy in the landscape as the center,based on the theoretical research related to the regional culture and landscape design, andtakes Huan County which is in Gansu Province as the research object. According to theapplication status of regional culture in Huan county landscape design, it specificallydiscussed the theoretical and technical problems of the application of regional culture inlandscape planning and design. Article took lots methods in the research, including theliterature research, field research method, comparison method, analysis method and so on.(1) This paper conducted a comprehensive analysis of basic theory related to the researchcontents, theoretically analyzed the interaction relationship between regional culture andlandscape design, it had been clear about the basic idea that regional culture constructedregional landscape and regional landscape to convey regional culture. And it summarized atheoretical application strategy of the regional culture in landscape design. The studypresented that the refining and use of regional culture is the key to build a characteristiclandscape. The cultural refinement included investigating and integrating the cultureinformation of natural resources, cultural and ecological environment, psychological spiritualneeds of landscape percipient and social culture.(2) Based on the comprehensive mining of regional culture in Huan County, the papermade a depth analysis of the regional characteristics in Huan County from the nature, history,economy and urban landscape.(3) Through the analysis of several typical landscape case in Huan county, it summed upa series of problems of the application of regional culture in Huan county landscape,including the deviation between cultural value and ecological value in the regional landscape construction, lack of complete landscape sequence in the regional culture protection design,ignoring the regional culture inheritance and continuation, singleness of regional culturemanifestation in the landscape and the imbalances between traditional and modern on thetechnique of landscape building.(4) Finally, it tentatively put forward a application strategy of the regional culture inlandscape design according to the difficulties in regional landscape construction of HuanCounty. And the theoretical strategy was demonstrated based on the practical design case ofHuan river tourist style line in Huan County. It presented that in the city with harshenvironment and economic backwardness, the landscape design should respect the site culture,combine with the ecological protection and ecological restoration based on the identificationof ecological characteristics, then integrate the regional cultural resources and naturalresources, lexicalize the regional culture with some abstract symbolic form, such as line,pattern, color and so on, and dissolve the culture into by the way of garden art. In the processof landscape construction, it should take some modern science and technology to perform thetraditional culture form, to realize cultural continuity. Only in these ways, a regionallandscape space with landscape ecology, aesthetic and cultural inheritance could be formed.The ecological environment in Huan County is very harsh, but the culture is profound,and its landscape construction area is typical in harsh environment. This article providedcertain guidance to the construction of regional characteristic landscape in the modern urbanand the landscape innovation practice in the harsh environment. |
