“Striving for the survival and promoting development” is the power base of theenterprises, in the face of "separation of plant and network, bidding" situation, how to reducethe cost of power generation and strive for bigger power market, these become that eachpower enterprise must be thinking of problem.At present, a large number of high-power auxiliary equipment of thermal power planthas a large consumption of electricity, system and these auxiliaries mostly uses the outletbaffle or adjusting the door closure adjustment, there is a lot of energy loss, the importantfactor is the high rate of electric power plant. Application of high voltage inverter can makethe feed water pump in power plant for power generation process, according to the change ofload change output high, thus saving a large amount of electrical energy, obtaining a workingfrequency under the condition of maximum output cannot get considerable economic benefit.This paper studied the energy dissipation problem of feed water pump and boiler watersupply system, power saving mechanism analysis of motor, compared the characteristics ofhydraulic coupler and frequency control, through to the domestic and the other two of feedpump frequency conversion examples are studied, and according to the actual situation ofBaotou power plant, the frequency conversion of feed water pump the power plant, includingthe main loop transformation, the transformation of pre pump, hydraulic coupler and supplysystem reconstruction, high-voltage inverter configuration, high-voltage inverter systeminstallation, and modify and control the system logic to improve the feed water pump in theoriginal basis of the corresponding. After the completion of the transformation, based on theactual data of observation, analysis of the energy saving and application effect of frequencyconversion transformation are detailed. Results show that high voltage frequency convertercan effectively reduce the energy consumption in the auxiliary power thermal powerenterprises, reduce auxiliary repair cycle and improve the noise environment, which has greatreference to the application of high voltage variable frequency technology in powerenterprises.
