Study On Exhibition Design Based On Forestry University Historical Museums

As products of the development of universities to a certain stage, Historical Museums are arranging the collection of university history and promoting the communication between universities in an effective way. Forestry Universities are of high research value because they have many aspects such as historical backgrounds and specialties in common. However, on account of the limited development time in china, Forestry University Historical Museums do not have an integrated set of relevant theory by now. Also, some of the existing Forestry University Historical Museums did not achieve the expected targets when performing their functions. Therefore, this paper would carry on the theoretical and practical study of Forestry University Historical Museums from the angle of exhibition design in order to solve the existing problems and provide some tips for Forestry University Historical Museuin exhibition, design.Firstly, the history of eight major forestry universities in China was sorted, summarized and.studied with the method of literature data collection. And the lateral comparison and analysis of the history of forestry universities are carried out to summarize the characteristics of forestry universities history in China and to get the content of display design of Forestry University Historical Museums. Secondly, the theory of design Psychology, Museology, Learnability are quoted as the theoretical support to discuss the exhibition design of Forestry University Historical Museums form six aspects, which are design positioning, design target, exhibition theme, the exhibition order, the general style and the flow design respectively. Thirdly, one or more feasible exhibition design methods are come up with for each part of Forestry University Historical Museums. This study reveals the existing problems in the exhibition design of Forestry University Historical Museums and comes up with a feasible solution, which could be a beneficial reference sample for Forestry University Historical Museums and other University Historical Museums. The research would contribute to promoting the exhibition design of Forestry University Historical Museums towards a new stage, realizing the "People-oriented" design concept and accelerating the development of University Historical Museum exhibition design in China.
