The Relationship Between Abstract Painting And Architectural Form And Space Design

Abstract painting has brought modern art stronger and more profound appeal, its technique of color expression and concept of space expression has been absorbed by more and more modelling innovator. Likewise, architectural form and space expression have intimate relationship with the method of space shaping in abstract painting.This paper starts from the origin of abstract painting, analyze and conclude the concept as well as the painting techniques of abstract painting from the perspective of the architect. Then taking the works of Zaha Hadid as examples, analyzing her technique of shape and space creating, and compared with abstract painting, so as to explore the relationship between abstract painting andmodern architectural form and space design. The author wish this paper will provide a new concept of design method to our architects as well as a reference to our innovationof architectural basiceducation.
