Architectural Experience Research Under Eco-Phenomenology

Abstract:Nowadays, with the rapid development of science and technology, the aggravation of the ecological environment crisis increasingly emerge. People’s demand for better ecological living conditions increase. So, how to meet People’s needs has become the common tough task that humanity faces. On the other, because of the deep-rooted Binary Opposite, people usually pay attention to Instrument Rationality, technology and image on architecture, consequently, they inevitably step on the road of metaphysics. It speed up the loss of architectural experience. The root of this result is the thought of "Misunderstanding the nature. Eco-Phenomenology looked the man-environmental relations as research object, and it uncovered the essence of the architecture. We should pay more attention to it.This article firstly described the theory of Eco-Phenomenology, and then find out the significance of building itself. Among them, through the discussion of phenomenological reduction and the significance of building itself that shows out the close relationship between people and nature. Through the researches about the experience of place and life, We think that architecture is a media between people and nature, and it let a person feel the experience of life. And then through the research of the mechanism of sense and psychology, we are in purpose to solve the problem of experience generation and conduct case studies. Finally, make architecture experience which is under the concept of Subject and Object Fusion possible.
