The Research On Architectural Color Experience Based On Phenomenology Of Perception

This world has been gradually changed by many graphical factors. The perception and memory of the building also slowly fade away with the current situation. And no one cares about the meaning of "Poetic living". As the most direct way of building, the original meaning of architectural color is also gone with this fact. We have paid much attention to the simple symbols of color, while ignoring the full emotion words in it. Architectural color should not be ignored and used by the contented and wishful way of thinking. On the contrary, it should be the results of our perception on the material, space, structure of building. Architecture need to be such a role which can find some real things, so we can get back the relationship between people and nature.Phenomenology is such a subject that based on something itself and the original perception of people. It attempts to exclude any subjective judgment and restore the true meaning of things. Therefore, architectural color not only can express the external visual enjoyment, but also the indescribable and complex emotion from the internal part. And the color of music, literature, film and other art forms also can stimulate people’s perceptual experience the same as architecture. As a result, we can study how to express the essential meaning of the architectural color from such a multi-dimensional and interdisciplinary experience departure which is based on the philosophical platform of phenomenology of perception. And finally, we can get the purpose of regress and finding the poetic architectural color.
