Referring to the domestic and international research literature, to the super-microfoldable electric vehicle as the research object, This paper analyzed and designed thestructure of the super-micro foldable electric vehicle by using modern-design method,the body frame of linkage was put forward with an innovation. The three-dimensional simulation mode was built by using Pro/E based on the design of vehicle,interference checking and the analysis of kinematics and dynamics are achieved byusing Pro/E too. Structural static mechanicsanalysisof frame are achieved by usingANSYS Workbench.All the work can be listed as follow:1.After analyzing the super-micro foldable electric vehicle and summarizing thefeature, a condition was gained, which provided the base for the following designs.2.The overall design of super-micro foldable electric vehicle was finished byusing modern-design method. The most important work is the layout of the vehicle,which can be finished by selecting the key parts of the vehicle and referringthree-dimensional model of the human body and the design theory of the car. Andaccording to the goal of vehicle design parameters and the type of motor, the speed ofthe motor and power of parameters and the final ratio were determined. Theparameters of the battery were calculated, which can check the dynamic performanceof the vehicle. The result of it meets the requirements. The key components weredesigned based on the overall design of the vehicle, which included the suspensionsystem, the steering system. There was a detail design on the key components allabove, In order to meet the driving habits of people.3.The plan of the folding mechanism was designedbased on the overall design,and the folding mechanism was designed and optimized by ADAMS,the inhibitingdevicewasdesignedtokeepthe stability. The three-dimensional simulation mode arebuilt and assembled by using Pro/E, and then the interference checking and analysisof kinematics and dynamics are achieved by using Pro/mechanism to assure therationality of the design. 4.Thestructural static mechanics analysisunder different working condition offrame are achieved by using ANSYS Workbench. The analysis data represent thestrength and strain characteristics of frame, which is the guidance of optimal designand improvement of frame to improve the economy.
