To rise the efficiency of the DCS checking and company management level and direct reasonable purchase for spare developed an integrated and quantitative evaluation system for reliability of DCS is necessary. Because this system can imporve the safety of DCS operation of electric power company. The relevant experts and the technicist of electric both want to find a way to evaluate the reliability of DCS timely and accurately. Someone put forward the valuable views and implementation measures notwithstanding,but more of that views focuses on qualitative analysis. In the first place, this paper have introduces the correlation theoryof reliability,include the index of reliability, the data processing method of raliability and modeling approach of reliability. Choice the Bayes algorithm to analysis the reliability data according to the characteristic of DCS of power plant and use Fault Tree to modeling. In the second place, this paper conduct the case analysis for NO.2unit of siemens TXP DCS of Ninghai power plant.Giving the minimal cut set of the Control Cabinets,Plant Bus and Terminal Bus,and calculate the probability importance degree and other reliability index of components of each part.Propose to the improvement project of reliability of the Plant Bus, and comparative analysis of different redunadancy.
