The concrete pump truck is the most widely used construction machinery. The hydraulicsystem is the key technology. Along with our country economy high speed development,concrete pump truck population is also increasing.Due to the complex system of hydraulicconcrete pump truck and the diverse working conditions, the fault mode and fault reason canbe varied. This article analyze failure of hydraulic system and investigate maintenance issuesof hydraulic system by fault tree improved method based on the Analytic HierarchyProcess(AHP).The main contents are as follows:This paper expounds the basic principles of fault tree analysis. Traditional fault tree analysisdid not take into account the fuzziness of probability of the basic events.since the factors ofthe affected system is often complex, the actual system often be difficult to obtain accurateprobability of basic events.So this article put forward fault tree improved method based on theAnalytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) by fuzzy mathematical theory.We establish fault tree pumping hydraulic system of concrete pump truck by researchingfailures linkages. The qualitative analysis strike minimal cut sets and minimal path sets ofhydraulic system to know its failure and preventive approach;The quantitative analysiscalculated the probability of failure, the probability importance and the critical importance ofthe hydraulic system with the improved fault tree theory.It can verify the correctness theimprovement of fault tree method and,according to the degree of importance of the basicevents,pointe out the focus on the prevention of the object in order to improve its operationalbenefits;It is develop computer-aided fault tree analysis system by VB.NET to calculate theprobability top event of fault tree,probability importance and critical importance in order toreduce the amount of manual calculations and result more accurate.
