The Research Of The Outdoor-Communicational Universal Design Of Citie’s Community

The communication and interaction of people is the foundation of theexisting city. And a city is the main residence of modern human-beings.Being the unit of a city, the community can exhibit the city’s visage of bothphysical and spiritual parts. Most of the community planning design alwayshas some problems such as the narrow and limited communal facilities orsome wasted space by the facilities. Some communities are short of energyand passion that will cause a lack of trust with the residents or otherproblems. What’s more, the growing scale of a city often leads to thedisappearance of small scaled space. This thesis is conducted to solve theseproblems. In the research, in order to strengthen the interaction of residentsand enhance the community out door’s vitality index and set the ‘design forall the groups’ into the basic philosophy, the community will be the basicspace unit to research the appearance of a city and then the research willdrawing lessons from the universal design methods to resurvey therelationship between outdoor space and community residents.The thesis research focuses on the Ergonomics, the environmentalmetaphysics, the sociology and the design science by using theinterdisciplinary research method, the comparison method, the fieldresearch method. From the universal design‘s viewpoint, the thesisexpounded the concept and the essential factors of interaction, analysed theimportance of the general outdoor space and discussed the diversity needsfrom the universal design method. We summarized some problems of theexisting community out door’s intercourse space through the research andmade a depiction of the advantage in universal design. It pointed out thespecific forms of multiple sensory organs design in the intercourse space. Then, it has more thorough analysis on the media, rules and method of thecommunity outdoor intercourse space.We used to only care about the normal people. But now, in thecircumstance of diversity design, the spatial planning of communityoutdoor design has a chance to avert that shortage by using the system ofuniversal design method so that we could explore a humanized way tosatisfy all kinds of groups with different needs. The topic will offer a newthoughts to benefit the design of community outdoor intercourse space orthe whole city intercourse space.
