Research On Urban Color Landscape Planning

Urban color,it is to point to a city(including buildings, public facilities, the natural environment, cultural landscape, etc.)integrated overall color rendering. At present, the urban color research at home and abroad are also made the corresponding results. Urban color planning in our country, there are, however, a larger error, as a result of the urban color planning and operational is not strong, lead to urban color planning combined with city construction practice harder, not practical, convenient and efficient, characteristic of urban color management model.First, this paper did research on principles of urban color design, and did case study on urban color design worldwide. It conducted the detailed analysis and comparative studies on core components that affect urban color design, as well as types of urban color design. In addition, it analyzed the current urban color design of Yangling and figured out the key problems existing in current system. Last, based on the the analysis in first two parts, this paper proposed a new design and planning solution to Yangling, built on deep understanding of current urban color planning of Yangling. We propose a new design and planning system, which use green as main color, and use yellow color to assist the design with red and gray color as decorations. These three components are integrated together to form the "Chun-Yun" theme in this Agriculture Hi-Tech Industrial Zone, to create a romantic and happy "garden city" with our proposed design, which shows the vigor and charm of a modern city in Yangling.Yangling, is the only Agriculture Hi-Tech Industrial Zone in China. In more than two decades of urban development, the appearance and landscape of Yangling has changed dramatically. Yangling has gradually became a comprehensive city based on its developed core features of tourism, agricultural science and technology, and ecology. Since urban color landscape is the signature of a city, it is an important aspect of city construction. However, there are still many problems existing in color landscape of Yangling, such as lack of standout features concept, lack of detailed design and unorganized design of urban color landslide. Lack of planning and research on urban color design in the past current the unorganized appearance today. This could be a concern. Therefore, it is important to refine the urban color landscape of Yangling by researching, analyzing the appearance and design concepts of Yangling based on city color planning principles and methods.
