| The end-of-life vehicles (ELV) and windscreens are mainly handled with breaking ormanual dismantling at home and abroad. The automated and intelligent dismantlingequipment and technology are absent in this field. Dismantling and recycling ELV startslate in China, development also lags behind in China, ELV recycling has advancedtechnology, perfect mechanism, and also has corresponding legal and policy supportabroad, but lacks of automated dismantling technology and equipment of windscreen. Inorder to develop an effective and nondestructive dismantling technology for dismantlingwindscreen of ELV, contour tracking technology of windscreen is studied based on thebackground in this paper.The dismantling contour of windscreen is fit based on Matlab. Data points of frontand rear windscreen are detected first, then data points are fit and graphs are drawn usingMatlab software with powerful curve fitting and drawing function. The continuous andsmooth fitting trajectory is close to the actual curve which suggests that it can be used asthe actual dismantling trajectory.The contour tracking mechanism of windscreen is designed, and the driving andtransmission way is determined. Accordingly, the transmission mechanism and the actuatorare selected. Finally, the control system and the edge detection sensor are analyzed anddesigned.According to the connection of motion control card, the search for the origin and thequery results of file data, the next move of the control card is determined and the flowchart of tracking is designed. VB interface and program is designed for the origin setting,inching and automatic tracking of windscreen.The virtual reality simulation of contour tracking combined with VB, SolidWorks andvirtual reality technology is realized. Solid models and virtual assembly of the trackingmechanism are established, and then imported VrmlPad using inline node, the files are organized and nested to determine father-son relationship. Finally, movement relation isadded, movement is transferred by clock event, and human-computer interaction is realizedusing VB. Automatic tracking along the contour of windscreen by tracking mechanism isthen realized and the simulation effect is good. Each component of the positions ismeasured by simulation of end point.This study provides a theoretical basis for the research of the subsequent cuttingmachine of windscreen and technical support for the research on automated dismantlingtechnology. |
