Butterfly is an important control component in fluid transfer system, havingdiversion, closure, adjustable throttling, preventing backflow, shunting or overflowingrelief functions. Butterfly valves are widely used in daily life and industrialproduction. With the continuous development of metallurgical industrial, theperformance is required increasingly higher, especially which applied to cut orcombustion system.In that system medium flowing through the valve body mostly arehot gas, performance guarantees is particularly important.The research subjects is DN1400butterfly valve. It has the followingadvantages:small size, light weight, simple structure, open and close rapidly, fewerparts, more compact structure etc. This butterfly is often used in stove system, underhigh temperature environment for a long time. So the media in the valve shocks eachbar, the influence of the temperature environment, and other uncertainties areaffecting the performance and the life of the valve. Therefore the flow field analysisand coupled field analysis is particularly important.This paper not only finished motion simulation and numerical analyzes withSolidworks, carried out the analysis of fluid-structure interaction andthermal-structure interaction. Three physical field coupling were carefully analyzed.Also carried out a contrastive analysis of the fluid-structure interaction, thermal-solidcoupling and three-field coupling in the Origin. Results show that when the medium ishigh temperature gas the impact of assault has little effect on the valve; Temperaturethen have a greater impact;The result of the three physical field coupling analysis isnot the simple superposition of the fluid-structure interaction and thermal-structureinteraction. So When the medium is high temperature gas the three physical fieldcoupling analysis is necessary. The assault at the degree below60°is bigger than thedegree above60°So it should not be used at the opening above60°.
