Dadu river downstream located the alluvial of Dadu river from the mountains intothe plains. Regional topography mainly for showed accumulation erosion landformmainly. The reach River segment where the project located. Water network was denselycovered. Heart beach, floodplains Well developed, water is Scattered and is a typicalmulti-braided river rapids. The settlements and factories along the river are moreintensive. The layout of Three low-head cascade hydropower stations located Daduriver downstream need to consider natural conditions downstream river, flood controlrequirements and development and utilization conditions of river. Project layout relatedto power generation, flood control, hub operation and ecological protection issues.Specifically Angu hydropower take long levees and river dredging methods takecomplex braided river a single river, completely changed the topography of the originalriver flood detention conditions and ecological environment. Angu hydropower usedsluices retaining and combination more than10km long tailrace to generate electricity. This way of hydropower development at home and abroad are rare. So the study hasimportant significance In this paper rely on Angu hydropower, Take theoreticalcalculations and combination of physical model tests mathematical model of local riverto study project layout and hydraulics problem of Angu hydropower. The maincontents of this paper are as follows.(1)Study the overall layout features of hub station. Analysis Rationality ofdevelopment approach of long auxiliary dam, nagao drains, and Hub area. Proposereasonable improvements.(2)Study dissipation problem of Dadu river downstream. Take a physical modelwith hydraulics calculation method of combining research Provide a reasonablemeasure of energy dissipation scheme In order to achieve the desired effect of energydissipation.(3) Study navigable canal issue of nagao drains. Including flow condition ofentrance area navigation, navigable canal issue of nagao drains, unsteady flow effects onnavigation conditions and impact on navigable flow conditions of ships mooredsegment.Studies suggest that the special and complex development methods of Angu hydropower adapt the Dadu River downstream river. By optimizing linear of longauxiliary dam nagao drains and long flood drainage. effective Resolved reservoirinundation and river flood problems caused by dam. Make flood control standard ofreservoir from2years to make a case up to100years and make flood control standardof downstream of the dam up to50years. Solved navigation issues of project area.Effective navigable scale reached class V standard of inland navigation. combinedsingle-stage stilling basin with auxiliary stilling pier effectively solving the problem ofenergy dissipation. Avoid Rapids dam directly interface with the mainstream segment. The results of this study may provide the technical basis and reference for theconstruction of Angu hydropower stations. The method of combining with a varietyof methods to study project layout and hydraulics problem can provide a reference forsolving a series of hydraulic problems caused by the construction of hydropowerstations in complex river.
