Research On The Spatial Growth Model Of Changchun Metropolitan Area

Metropolitan area (MA) is the city of national or regional social economic developedregion, a new spatial form is the process in the development of modern city, have animportant impact on regional economic development. With the rapid development of city inour country, some large city or city also showed morphological characteristics of metropolitanarea, especially a few big regional economic and social development has become thedevelopment of metropolis with the forefront. Changchun as the capital of Jilin Province, inrecent years the elements throughout the provincial population, resources, information,technology and so on to Changchun high concentration, in the high concentration at the sametime, the outward diffusion of momentum is also very obvious, the city and surrounding areasof regional integration development trend, new city spatial form evolution process alsoproduced many serious problems. In these circumstances, of Changchun urban spatial growthpattern research, both theoretical and practical significance, not only to provide sometheoretical basis for the development of urban spatial growth research, but also provides somedevelopment strategies for the sustainable development of the metropolitan area ofchangchun.In this dissertation, based on a summary of the metropolitan area theory basis and relatedresearch, research summarizes the definition, connotation, space about metropolitan areadefinition, development mechanism and American, Japan and domestic metropolitandevelopment, provide the theoretical foundation for the later study. Then, the integrated use ofadministrative law, foreign experience and "breaking point" method defines the Changchunmostly space area, and then determine the Changchun Metropolitan growth developmentstage, growth analysis of the space, thus obtains the Changchun urban spatial growth model.Finally, based on the development status on the analysis of the main problems existing in thedevelopment of Changchun Metropolitan Area and puts forward to establish and perfect themanagement system of Changchun City District, unified planning, coordination developmentof regional social service facilities, infrastructure and ecological infrastructure, and guide therational allocation of regional resources, coordination center City and the surroundingcounties and cities development, strengthen the metropolis and inter city cooperation,improve the development strategy of metropolitan area’s overall economic strength andinfluence, to achieve sustainable development of the city most of Changchun.
