The Research On Construction Project Cost Control Based On BIM

The low efficiency and serious waste phenomenon in construction industry are particularly prominent, so we must pay attention to the cost management of construction project. Especially in the construction stage, as the main stage of resource consumption, its actual effect of cost control directly influences the whole profit of the project. At the same time, construction enterprises are more and more. If construction enterprises want to survive in the increaingly heated competition market, they have to make full use of all methods to make a good control for the construction cost. BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology is able to integrate all the information about project together organically and provide data information for cost management of each stage in the whole process of construction projects. In this paper, BIM technology is introduced into construction cost control, to give full play to the advantages of BIM, so as to enhance the competitiveness of construction enterprise and the resource utilization of construction industry.Firstly, the introduction of BIM technology into construction cost control is analyzed in this paper. The present situation of construction cost control and the advantages of BIM technology in construction cost control are analyzed in this paper to find the breakthrough point to introduce the BIM technology into construction cost control. And the construction cost control system is build based on BIM.Then, in order to do well in advance cost control, BIM technology is applied to the construction cost decision in this paper. The construction cost decision model and the workflow of construction cost based on BIM are created in this paper. The decision model retrieves some similar projects from the historical case-enterprise BIM database to formulate alternatives by resemble degree computation, takes advantage of VE to select the best value solution, and optimizes solution with the BIM virtual construction technology. This model can help project managers realize cost decision solution from nothing to get some then choose the best, so as to help project managers to do better cost decision.Finally, in order to do well in intermediate cost control, the construction cost control system model based on BIM is designed in this paper. Under the guidance of the overall model of construction cost control system,5D BIM model is build to be the underlying database to provide data support for the each function module of the system, and earned value method is used to realize the three big functional modules of system, including cost monitoring, early warning system and cost prediction. Then the5D PCS system and a division of the project are used as cases to study to introduce more intuitively the working principle of construction cost control system based on BIM. This system model can help construction enterprise improve the level of intermediate cost control.Construction cost control based on BIM is studied in this paper from two aspects: advance control and intermediate control, so as to promote BIM technology from design phase to construction phase.
