Development Of The Meridian And Acupoints Detection System Based On ADS1100

With the development of economy, the level of people’s life improvesconstantly, the degree of attention to health and treatment scheme has a higherand higher requirement, which requires the market to develop more and bettermedical equipment products to meet the different needs of people.Meridian theory in our country has a long history, the earliest can betraced back to the five to seven thousand years ago, and it is an important partof our traditional Chinese medicine.It also plays an important role in guidingthe development of CTM theory and various aspects in clinical practice.Human body’s many physiological and pathological changes in theinternal, will cause the changes in the external, such as the resistance value ofhuman body’s meridian points. Changes in different degrees represents themeridian points and its corresponding viscera lesions conditions are different.Therefore,through the use of electrical measuring technology to test the stateof channels and collaterals,we can get an evaluation of human body’s healthcondition.Based on the meridian theory,and combined with electrical measuringtechnology,we develop the meridian and acupoints detection system based onADS1100,including the development of the measuring system and the PCsoftware system.Hardware measuring circuit based on the meridian and acupointsinformation detection system,we complete the meridian acupoint resistancemeasurement by using PIC16F873A as the controller, the A/D conversion isfinished by ADS1100.The system collects and processes information of24meridians,then spread the information to PC through RS232interface circuitand diseases diagnose system will analyse the information, then the PCsoftware system will show the health state of human body.PC software system is written by C#language,and the developmentenvironment is Visual Studio2010.The PC software system is divided into twokinds: medical test model and health assessment model, meet people’sdifferent measurement requirements. PC software system includes dataprocessing, user information management and data query. The software candisplay the real-time data information.This system completes the instrument commissioning,the results show that the stability and accuracy of the instrument meets the expected goals andthe business needs of the project side.
