Currently,the intelligence level,energy efficiency and reliability of the remotecontrol excavator need to be improved,and the products are mini excavator,it isdifficult to meet the need of emergency rescue, relief and military construction.For the current shortcomings of the remote control excavator,this paper designsremote control excavator system based on the23tons of hydraulic excavators,in orderto improve the intelligence level,reduce labor costs, eliminate the security risks ofoperator in harsh environments. The main works are as follows:(1) According to the basic requirements of the control system,the dual-coreprocessor chip F28M35of TI company is selected to optimize and improve thehardware circuit based on the existing controller. The F28M35is internally integratedwith communication-based M3core and control-oriented C28core,and the two coresshare data through IPC. Through the rational allocation of two sub-tasks,it caneffectively solve the conflict problem happening when multi-port real-timecommunication and control proceed simultaneously.(2) It researches the functional requirements of the control system and adoptsmodularized programming method. According to the functions that each module willachieve such as communication, control and operation functions, the programming ofeach function module in controller is completed on CCSv5development platform.And the reliability design method is summarized in the process of software design.(3) Through analyzing the electrical control principle of remote control excavator,the optimizing design scheme of control circuit is put forward to reduce theconsumption of battery power, and the problem of sensor signal distortion is solved.The paper analyzes the existing problems of the electrical control box, and theproblem that the excavator cannot work normally when the throttle knob is damagedis solved by increasing the virtual potentiometer functions. A kind of simple andeffective function testing device of electrical control box is designed to make thedetection process more efficient and fast with lower cost consumption. According to the design requirements and principles of the vehicle wiring harness, it completes thedesign of the vehicle wiring harness, reducing the failure rate of the system, andimproving the maintainability of the system.This paper designs the intelligent control system based on large excavators, mainlyincluding controller and electrical control circuit. Verification results show that thecontrol system has obvious advantages. It provides a new idea and direction formaking the remote control excavato intelligent and practical, and it’s of greatresearch value to the enhancement of the practicability of the remote controlexcavator in the field of emergency rescue, relief and military construction.
