Study On The Coal Mine Settlements Of Acoustic Environment

Coal is one of the most important energy sources in our country, mine workersmake significant contribution to the coal industry. As a liability to the development ofthe society and coal enterprises, Improving the living conditions of workers can not beignored. Coal mine settlements provide mine workers the place for basic living anddaily activities of life, but affect by coal production and transportation noise inacoustic environment to a certain extent, due to the particularity of its geographicallocation and nature. This paper takes coal mine settlements as the research object,studies on its unique acoustic environment and Proposes measures to improve thestatus of its acoustic environment.The thesis analysis the composition and characteristics of noise sources in theacoustic of coal mine settlements, describes the evaluation criteria coal settlementsacoustic environment combined with the relevant existing standards and norms ofacoustic environment. Then conduct questionnaire survey and field tests in Baodiansettlements and Dongtan settlements of Yanzhou mining area in Shandong province,and finds the present situation of the coal settlements acoustic environment mainlyincludes the following aspects: firstly, the horns noise of coal transportation railwaynoise has greatly influenced the settlements on both sides of railway, especially innoon and early morning time; the coal transportation road noise affects settlementsbesides the roads mainly with the noise spectrum in middle and high frequency.Secondly, the settlements road noise impacts the acoustic environment in verticaldirection of a small part of the settlements along the road. Thirdly, the industrial noisewithin the coal industry square impacts the acoustic environment of the nearestsettlements in vertical direction mainly with the noise spectrum in middle frequency.Fourthly, the business activity noise belonged to the social life noise also impacts theacoustic environment of nearby settlements.Based on the above results of research and field testing in acoustic environmentof coal mine settlements, combined with the acoustic theory, the thesis integrates threebasic ways to control noise which are the countermeasures in the source of the noise,transmission process and places affected by noise into four improving measures asplanning and design, residential building design, road and environmental design,business management, finally takes Baodian settlements and Dongtan settlements astwo examples to recommend measures to improve the acoustic environment.. The thesis gives conclusions about the research to coal mine settlements in acousticenvironment and brings out the future prospects at last.
