Missile-borne computer is the core module of the precision guided weapons. It plays a role as thebrain of the intelligent weapens, and gets more people’s attention. According to the requirements ofpractical project, this paper proposes and design a missile-borne computer based on“DSP+CPLD+USB2.0”. The main work includes:(1) According to the function and performance requirements of the project, analysis and compareof the existing designs, the paper puts forward a program using DSP as a core, supplemented byCPLD and USB2.0. The design takes full advantage of DSP’s high-speed processing computingpower, CPLD peripherals flexible scalability and high-speed USB data transfer, and strongcompatibility features; the design of the system platform is versatility and flexibility;(2) The hardware choose TMS320VC5509A DSP to be core processor, and combine withXC2C512CPLD and CY7C68013A USB2.0; DSP and CPLD connected through EMIF; peripheralsincluding serial communication, ADC, etc. through CPLD to connect with DSP, and are controlled bythe DSP; USB2.0module connects by FIFO-RAM mode, by this way to complete data andcommands communication; on the basis of this idea, this paper completes the system’s hardwarecircuit design and debugging;(3) Software design uses modular theory, including bootloader DSP bootloader program, ADCacquisition, RS422serial communication, USB2.0firmware and other related procedures;(4) The paper completes a prototype design of the missile-borne computer. Through programsdownloading and debugging, each moduel is tested. Through performance analysis and system testing, the missile-borne computer meets the requirements of the desgin.
