| Mesh-free methods is a new numerical analysis methods developing rapidly inrecent years, the element free Galerkin (EFG) method is one of the most widely usedapplications and research mesh-free method. Avoiding the difficulties due to the meshdistortion, compared with the finite element method, it have showed great advantages inresolving the crack propagation, material failure, impact failure, local large deformationand instability.Solutions of internal displacement and additional stress of foundation soil causedby vertical loads is one of the important research subjects in elasticity. The additionalstress is new stress increased in the foundation, which causes deformation of thefoundation is the main reason causing the building settlement, so that the subject hasvery high practical value in engineering applications. On the basis of previous research,this paper conducts a further study. Currently, calculation of the additional stress andsettlement in foundation soil is Boussinesq solution which based on homogeneousisotropic elastic semi infinite body, with the development of computer technology, themesh-free method is becoming a widely used numerical methods in geotechnicalengineering analysis. References from existing view, EFGM has made some progress inthe field of geotechnical engineering, particularly achieved more research in thecalculation and analysis of plate on the elastic foundation. The previous calculation andanalysis is mainly applied to2-D problem. This paper set about from the3-D problem,the element free Galerkin analysis produce for3-D elastic foundation soil under verticalloads been compiled. Through3-D cantilever beam example analyze the size of thesupport domain, the number of Gauss points, the density of background cells and fieldnodes of3D element free Galerkin method effect on the precision of calculation, andgives the corresponding suggestions.Through the analysis of displacement and stress of foundation soil under verticalconcentrated load and uniform rectangular load, proves the stress diffusion phenomenonand summarizes the stress diffusion regularity of foundation soil. Meanwhile, the paperalso compare the results from finite element software ANSYS and the traditionalcalculation results of elastic semi infinite space based on Boussinesq solution withcalculation results of the article procedure.The results show that: the three-dimensional element free numerical analysis method compiled in this paper can reflect the distribution of additional stress infoundation under vertical load, it has a high accuracy,the result is satisfactory. |
