| With the rapid development of wind power industry in recent years, it plays animportant role in the mitigation of enxironmental and energy crisis. As a new type of thewind turbine, compared with the traditional model, the wind turbine with hydraulictransmission has advantages of a higher power-to-weight ratio and the real-timeadjustment to the speed ratio, ect. Improving the efficiency of wind energy conversionsystem(WECS) is of great significance for popularizing the application of new typeWECS. The maximum power point tracking(MPPT) is the effective way to increase theefficiency of WECS, therefore, the general requirement of WECS is the MPPT function.Taking the MPPT control methods of the hydraulic WECS as research object, throughanalyzing the characteristics of each conponents, by doing theoretical analysis, simulationand experimental research, from the wind turbine rotation speed control, pressure controland power control three aspects, this paper has been mainly studied MPPT controlmethods, which is one of the key technologies.In the study of the MPPT methods of hydraulic WECS, this paper puts forward fourkinds of MPPT control methods suitable for hydraulic WECS, and the advantages anddisadvantages of which are analyzed theoretically. Among them, the essence of the firstmethod is generating power control, while the second method is the joint control ofgenerating power and wind turbine speed, which improves the deficiency of the firstcontrol method; the essence of the third method is pressure control, while the fourthmethod is joint control of pressure and wind turbine speed, which improves the deficiencyof the third control method.Employing the MATLAB/Simulink software snd AMESim software, the hydraulicWECS combined simulation model are constructed, which is used to carry on thesimulation research of the four MPPT control methods respectively. On the basis oftheoretical and simulation analysis, using the laboratory30kVA hydraulic WECSexperimental platform, the four MPPT control methods are studied experimentally, which verifies the correctness of the theoretical research of the putting forward hydraulic WECSMPPT control methods. |
