Tianjin, the center of Bohai economic circle, is becoming a third stage of China’seconomic development. Hexi District, as Tianjin Municipal administrative center,cultural arts center, business center, creative industrial base, is working hard to buildgood landscaping space in urban areas for improving the ecological environment andconstructing eco-livable city in urban areas, to accommodate need of rapiddevelopment of economic and cultural in Tianjin.Through historical documentation, the paper divides the development oflandscaping space into four stages: retrospect, foreign studying, development andprosperity. This paper takes landscape ecology, landscape ecological planning andgreenway as the theoretical base through analysis of landscaping space history andpresent situation, summarizing its structure existent problems in Hexi District, such asinsufficient greening amount, inadequate greening pattern supplying, and severelevel of environmental contamination, the shortage of corridor and so on. This paperputs forward some principles: ecological priority, integrated construction, andPeople-centered integration to improve amount and quality of greening pattern andto perfect corridor connectivity. It aims to construct the way of optimization andintegration solutions. Based on full use existing green space resources, this paperdetermined “one shore, three centers, four belts, five groups and24gardens”,combined with the characteristics of regional waters. This paper will mainly constructthe different types green space, analysis of the development trend of green space andgrasp the direction of variety plants application. It advises to guide the work of futuregreening and offers advice on greening. Eventually, Hexi District will realize a clearcharacteristic of green space: river running water shore function compound, urbanwater corridor unobstructed, the path landscape interaction.
