Study On Traffic Safety Risk Assessment Of Highway In Cold Areas

In the recent decades, the issue of traffic safety has become an urgent problem inthe field of highway safety research because of the rapid development of economy, carnumber and highway mileage. In view of the situation of our country highway safety,adjust measures to local conditions to make effective improvement measures andsolutions become urgent, the traffic safety risk assessment can be very effective not onlyto improve and enhance the safety level of our country existing highway, but also to theevaluation work of the highway with a big raise.This thesis follows the technical route of cold area traffic safety“influence factorsanalysis, study of assessment model, construction of assessment model, case study”,through the consult literature at home and abroad, analyze the contrast, factor analysis,introducing0-1variables and methods of case analysis, the paper studied the trafficsafety risk assessment of highway in cold areas.The paper firstly analysised the five factors which have deep influence on highwaytraffic safety and the specific content of each factor, dissected the adverse impact onhighway traffic safety of every factor, established the influence factor system ofhighway traffic safety in cold areas. Secondly, the paper analysised the theory of trafficrisk assessment of highway in cold areas which are wildly used, finally choose factoranalysis which is based on Principal Component Analysis, under the consideration ofsample size, target weight, certainty, subjective and objective factors. Next, combinedwith the highway accident data in Heilongjiang Province from2007to2011, this paperfiltrated22common factors which have deep influence on traffic safety risk assessmentof highway in cold areas in the application of factor analysis model, established thecalculation equation of each common factor, presented the factor score function oftraffic safety risk assessment of highway in cold areas. Finally, the paper took theaccident data of G1highway in the region of Heilongjiang Province as an example,calculated the value of factor score function of each accident. This chapter proposed thehighway accident risk hierarchy, analysised the accident risk level of G1highway in theregion of Heilongjiang Province, dissected the causes of the accident, put forward sometraffic safety improvement measures and solutions of G1highway in the region ofHeilongjiang Province.
