In modern naval warfare, the torpedo attacks the target by means of rocket-assisted andthe plane dropped, either way, the torpedo have to go through this process: in the air, intothe water, underwater. The entry process involves the interaction between solid, liquid andgas, thus it becomes the focus of many scholars studies. The modern naval warfare willdefinitely expand to the open sea, and bad sea conditions is inevitable, so considering theinfluence of wave factors is necessary. In conclusion, studying the problem of the torpedowater entry in wave as profound significance. Above all, specific work and main findings ofthe thesis are as follows:1) This paper uses the numerical calculation software ANSYS combined withuser-defined procedures in Fluent to simulate the physical process of a mass slamming intothe water, and the results verifies the effectiveness of the numerical simulation method.2) The author simulates the process of torpedo entering water in still water. Can be seenfrom the contours of phases, the torpedo entry process mainly includes four stages:impacting the water, invading the water, sailing with cavitation and sailing with all soaked. This paper quantitatively analyzed the influence of water speed(v=10m/s,15m/s,20m/s,25m/s,30m/s), water entry angle (θ=15°,30°,45°,60°,75°)and taper angle of thehead(α=0°、3°、5°、10°、15°、20°、25°、30°).We have got the curve of the impact pressuredistribution along the torpedo head hypotenuse, the curve of the impact pressure along withthe change of the velocity and taper angle, the relation curve between h1/R and the square ofFroude and so on.3) Study further, the author establishes the2D numerical flume, realizes the simulationof regular wave. And then, Selected waveform better regional to realize the process of thetorpedo enter water in wave. Entering the water in the waves will also experience the fourstages like still water, but the splashing height of free surface, the shape of cavity, andvelocity field are not symmetrical. Afterwards, the research focuses on the influence ofwave phase(peaks and troughs, equilibrium position up and equilibrium position down) andwave height(H=1m、2m、3m、5m).We have got the pressure curve, the torpedo’s ballisticcurve, the torpedo’s speed curve.4) This paper analysis the experiment of torpedo model enter water which meet thescale than. Through the high-speed cameras to capture the process of model entering water, we can find that the experimental results in agreement with the numerical simulation results. At last, analyzed the influence of torpedo head type to the way of cavity closure.
