With the rapid development of China’s automobile industry, automobile manufacturingtechnology and automotive performance have been greatly improved. The development ofChina’s automotive testing industry presented a huge challenge. In-depth study of theComprehensive performance testing methods about Commercial vehicles is important, it canpromoting the healthy development of China’s vehicles testing industry.This paper describes the automotive basic performance, automotive life status andchanges of automotive technology, provide theoretical support for comprehensiveperformance detection method and the choice for testing projects of comprehensiveperformance. Through field research to understand the condition of the equipmentconfiguration, station settings automobile test station, after the vehicles test to detect thepresence of the detection limit in appearance, power testing, fuel economy and other aspectsof detection by the questionnaire analysis unreasonable and detection methods and poormaneuverability. Then compared the GB18565-2001"Comprehensive performancerequirements and test methods of Commercial vehicles" and GB7258-2012"Safetyrequirements for running motor vehicle".Analys the differences about comprehensiveperformance testing and vehicle safety testing in testing items and testing methods. Then thedetection of individual projects was discussed about the need for comprehensive performancetesting. Vehicle dynamic testing and fuel economy testing is an important part of the vehiclestesting and detection, this article is also focus on this content. Based on the number of6800class passenger bus parametric statistics, calculate its speed and the rated power conditionsrated torque conditions through with GB18276-2000" car dynamics bench and evaluation "under the detection rate compares in the statistical analysis of samples of certain reasonablevehicle dynamics testing speed optimization value. And then review the basis of vehicle fueleconomy detection methods, analyzed the testing schemes abut carrying out the vehicle fueleconomy detection with the carbon balance method. Finally, the improvement plan of vehicletesting project is provided, promoting a reference and proposal for the transport sector todevelop recommendations automobile test standards.
